As you may know, each of our models has a name that comes from our personal history.
The Majorelle dress for example, our very first maternity dress, refers to our trip to Morocco and the beautiful story we experienced there.
The story of the Madrague dress takes place in the South of France, around the Mediterranean and not far from this beach which was made famous thanks to the song by Brigitte Bardot: "la Madrague" ...
"On the abandoned beach, shells and crustaceans"
Nicolas and I went there for a few days to go boating with friends. During this cruise, I had a little idea: I wanted to go up to the top of the farmhouse to ask Nicolas to marry me in turn. Yes, yes, you read correctly, I also wanted to propose (even though we were already engaged, but why not after all!)
The days go by, the weather is delicious even though it is November and we are taking advantage of this beautiful break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to sail according to our desires and the sublime landscapes that are offered to us.
...Up to this sublime little cove, sheltered from the wind...
...where we drop anchor. What a perfect place to climb up to the farmhouse, right?! Without further ado, I put the idea to the crew who didn't need asking twice and we got the gear out to start hostilities!
Full of adrenaline, I set off first on this ascent, as thrilling as it was exhilarating, with my little idea in mind: to ask Nicolas to marry me!
Once up there the view is absolutely sublime! I am breathless seeing the beauty of the landscapes, a horizon line that seems so far away and feeling so small! I take a few pictures and videos of the friends who stayed below and begin my descent to make way for the others.
Once I'm on the boat, I realize that I forgot the main reason for my climb: I forgot to ask Nico to marry me! What a laugh!
Let me tell you that we will remember this little story for a long time! Here it is immortalized in our pretty Madrague dress, the perfect little dress when you are invited to a wedding, a real treat, isn't it ;)
